This is CLASSIC.
I would have definately thought of this idea.
Many classify me as Original. but the way AXEL is posing only supports your "we didn't disappear".

I think that all the true essence of Kingdom Hearts have been dissapear. Not at all, but yes a lot of them. Why? Now, Axel is a keybearer, called Lea, with his heart again and the rest of the Org XIII are puppets.
I think that Nomura has wasted a lot of potencial in the characters of ORG XIII making them just... cases. They would be amazing.

So I prefer think about they became zombies and still being SO AWESOME like always.
